Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote in the election for DHS mayor and city council. We are proud to congratulate and welcome Councilman Russell Betts and new Councilwoman Anayeli Zavala to the DHS city council. We are excited about their plans to keep growing our city and economy without relying on the likes of Walmart which would only hurt us in the long-term. Results on the Mayor's race are still too close to call and won't be known until Friday when provisional ballots are counted. We will keep you posted on how that race shakes out.
