The city council and Mayor's race this November is heating up. We are happy to hear that three candidates are willing to fight for a Stronger DHS and stand up to Walmart- incumbent Councilman Russell Betts, Planning Commissioner Richard Duffle and Anayeli Zavala. As for the others, they support Walmart- including fmr. Councilwoman Yvonne Parks who helped dig the city into the deep financial hole that we are just beginning to get out of.
