It's happening! This week Des Plaines City Council voted to move ahead with Phase 1 engineering work on the S -curve path . This will start soon and the result will be a 'shovel ready' project eligible for federal support. Thank you so much to everyone who signed the petition, wrote to their aldermen, and attended council meetings. Also thank you to the aldermen for their support and City Public Works staff for their efforts in supporting this project. Des Plaines will be a better city for all your efforts!
