Quick update on a very rapid sequence of events that have transpired regarding The Green Monster since this petition was started (apart from the rapid increase in signatories on this petition):

• 9News came out Friday, Sep 6 to run a story on this saga, featuring several surrounding neighbors. You can read that story and watch the segment here
• Several neighbors on Nextdoor have posted and commented, searching for additional context and information to try to assist neighbors and the city towards resolution. If you have information that could be useful to this investigation, please comment directly on this petition or to one of the live posts here or here.
• A post on the subreddit r/boulder has similarly brought a lot of engagement and additional information and is worth a read to see how the conversation is shaping up.

All of this points to a vociferous and unified front against this obvious issue that the community would like to see resolved.

On Thursday, Sep 5, we reached out to the mayor and several city councilmembers with this context to help bring urgency to this issue. So far, have only received a response from Councilmember Adams who has brought in the city manager to learn more about what can be done.
