A planning application has been submitted to Bolsover district council to redevelop the Bolsover antiques centre premises, from retail into residential dwellings..... the Antiques centre is unique to the area and not only provides employment for local people but because of it's close proximity to Bolsover castle attracts visitors from not only from the UK but worldwide, these visitors frequently ask the centres  staff about local amenaties eg restraunts, cafe's, shop's, bar's ect, which of course the staff are only to happy to direct them to, helping to boost the local economy. Bolsover has suffered greatly since the demise of the coal fields so all economical support is crucial to the future of Bolsover. Our aim is for the antiques centre to contnue to trade and to support the economic growth of Bolsover !
