As part of a scheme to improve flow of traffic on Whittington Moor roundabout Derbyshire County Council are proposing to stop access to the roundabout from Dunston Rd for all vehicles except buses.

Local residents are concerned that this will inevitably lead to the traffic which would normally join the roundabout from Dunston Rd / Scarsdale diverting onto residential roads and streets that already suffer from high levels of traffic.

We, the undersigned, therefore call upon the Council to abandon the current proposed scheme and to rethink their plans for the roundabout.
