Remove the traffic restriction orders on Chapelgate, Roych , Long Causeway and Leys lane

Remove the traffic restriction orders on Chapelgate, Roych , Long Causeway and Leys lane
The Issue
We ask that DCCH reverse the decision made by the PDNPA to place traffic restriction orders on these 4 historic vehicle rights of way. Despite a recent petition with 2,220 signatures asking the PDNPA to remove these restrictions they have unfortunately declined to do so. Many local businesses are suffering due to the reduction of tourism mainly due to the closure of lanes available for legal and legitimate motorcycle trail riding. We think the reason of 'beauty and amenity' given by the PDNPA to close these 4 lanes is unreasonable and damaging to our local tourist economy. We feel that there are already thousands of vehicle free footpaths, bridleways and restricted byways that the 'beauty and amenity' sentiment could be better suited or allocated. We ask DCCH to put local people, business, potential jobs and the tourist trade first and remove these damaging restrictions.
