For those of you who live (or bike) in Mississauga, you would be pleased to know their Bloor Street Integrated Project will be headed to their General Committee on Wednesday, June 7. Mississauga city staff recommended Alternative 6 - which includes two traffic lanes, a centre turning lane, and protected bike lanes - from Central Parkway to Etobicoke Creek. An alternative which - should it be approved - will help make installing the final 4 km stretch from Six Points to Etobicoke Creek a lot easier given Toronto proposed a similar solution back in 2009.

The deadline to e-mail the General Committee (allyson.dovidio@mississauga.ca) to show your support for Mississauga's Bloor Street Integrated Project is Monday, June 5 at 4:00 PM.

If you plan to speak at Monday's IEC meeting, I look forward to seeing you there. Otherwise, I will keep you posted about the meeting outcome.

Ride safe!

Rob
