Deputy Brett Berry was caught beating his police K9 partner outside a casino on June 15 and only charged with animal cruelty. Berry was escorted out of a casino that night after making obscene jesters and inappropriate advances to staff members and was caught on tape afterwards beating his K9 partner in the casino parking lot. If in any other situation that left a K9 police officer harmed by a civilian, that civilian would be charged with assaulting a police officer and facing a serious sentence. Help bring justice to an officer that doesn't have a voice.
