Justice for Vanessa Guillen and MST Survivors

Justice for Vanessa Guillen and MST Survivors
The Issue
On April 22, 2020 Specialist (SPC) Vanessa Guillen went missing from Ft. Hood, TX. Before her disappearance and murder, Guillen confided in her family that she felt unsafe in Fort Hood due to experiences with sexual harassment, which she did not report out of fear for her personal safety. After more than two months Guillen's remains were found buried in a shallow grave. The circumstances around Guillen's disappearance have raised questions about the safety of our troops on military installations - places that should be among the safest on US soil.
SPC Guillen's disappearance and murder are now have said to have occurred in the Armory where Guillen worked; a secure facility where multiple levels of security exist. It would have been very difficult, arguably impossible, for the accused murderer to have done this heinous act in the way it has been described to the public. We want answers for the Guillen family.
We The People demand: 1. a Congressional investigation into the disappearance of SPC Vanessa Guillen; as well as, the investigation of the handful of other soldiers from Ft. Hood who have gone missing or died over the last year. 2. The use of non-military authority to investigate and address accordingly accusations of Military Sexual Trauma (MST) and other non-military offenses.
