My nephew is currently in Maxwell FPC, He has chronic kidney disease. He has been diagnosed with a mass in his right kidney that is cancerous. He needs to be home for further treatment and evaluation. He qualifies for the First Step Act for Compassionate Release. We have filed an order with the federal court and is waiting on an answer. Having him home will help to relieve his anxiety as well as the family.  I'm afraid the stress about the coronavirus will make his immune more vulnerable to disease, etc. Due to his health, it is imperative that he is in a safe environment and have access to the best health care. Upon his release, he is also prepared to work with our church ministry under the tutelage of Apostle Steve Davis at Refresh Family Church and Alabama Justice Initiative here in Birmingham, AL. He wants to mentor youth to share his experience in order to change the life of others.
