As someone who cares about the well-being of animals, I hate seeing YouTube channels like Animal HT that commit animal abuse for views, likes, and money. The fact that YouTube hasn't struck down Animal HT's channel and lets them get away with their wrongdoings is sickening.

Animal HT regularly features videos that blatantly showcase the cruel treatment and exploitation of animals under the guise of entertainment. These videos show animals in distress and dangerous situations for the mere purpose of attracting viewers. Despite being exposed for their cruelty by many channels, as well as blatantly violating community guidelines, YouTube continues to allow Animal HT's channel to thrive unchecked. Animal HT has over 18 million subscribers and gets paid between $69.5K and $208.6K monthly on average.

Some of the abuse featured in their videos includes feeding baby monkeys unhealthy food like chips, candy, and soda. Scientific research has shown that those foods are dangerous for monkeys and can harm their health or even kill them. One video even shows a baby monkey being tucked into a small bed... after being injected with a sedative before filming. Another video shows small aquatic and semi-aquatic animals like fish, baby crabs, and ducklings that were crammed into large plastic eggs. They are then released into a small, shallow pool with barely enough water for the fish to breathe in, which also has duck poop that doesn't get cleaned out. 

And on top of all this, Animal HT's target audience is children. YouTube, for some reason, puts this channel's content on YouTube Kids. Such content not only promotes ignorance and desensitization toward animal suffering but also conveys the dangerous message that animal exploitation is acceptable. This is highly inappropriate content to be showing to children, but nothing is being done about it.

It's unacceptable that platforms like YouTube, which have vast resources and technologies at their disposal, do not take action against not only Animal HT but many other animal exploitation channels like them.

By demonetizing and deplatforming channels like Animal HT, YouTube can take a stand against animal cruelty and exploitation. This would not only protect innocent animals from unnecessary harm but also set a powerful precedent, showing that animal abuse in any form should not be tolerated whatsoever.
