Bring Freedom of Choice Back to DePaul's Meal Plans

Bring Freedom of Choice Back to DePaul's Meal Plans
The Issue
We would like to have DePaul University reverse the changes it has made to its student meal plan systems. The limitations set by the current meal plan options restrict students to a limited menu and schedule and do not allow for students to eat at the various dining options outside of the "All-You-Care-To-Eat Dining Hall," unless they choose to spend the $300 "flex dollars" they are given per quarter. These "flex dollars" must be split between the 11 non-buffet options provided across DePaul's Lincoln Park and Loop campuses as well as "E.T.C.", DePaul's Lincoln Park snack store. By reverting the meal plans to the previous system, freedom of choice will be restored, allowing for students to make their own decisions in terms of what, when, and how they eat on campus.
