MES is the organisation which is Administratively control by officials of Mixed composition. They are not ready to see the carrier prospects of Back Bone of Military Engineer Services i.e. Junior Engineer.

We have constitution right to develop our carrier but due to shady and unaccountability of officials working with Military Engineer Services has tendency to create Hurdles. 

I was appointed as Junior Engineer in 2009 and get first promotion from Rs 4200 to Rs 4600 after lapse of 13 year but in same way un accountable officials are achieving Rs. 5400 to Rs 7600 with much more unaccountable behaviour....

UNIQUE WAY TO SHOW RESINTENTMENT BY GP B ENGINEERS OF MES DUE TO NON CONDUCTION OF DPC AE TO EE (Engineer & Surveyor) SINCE 07 YEARS  

Promotions of Group B Assistant Engineers posted in the Military Engineers Services (MES) under MoD are pending without any reason for the last seven years.  In discontentment of this, since 1 Nov 2023, on every Wednesday and Friday, the members of ALL INDIA MES CIVILIAN ENGINEERS ASSOCIATION are working during lunch hours also without having their Lunch and by wearing black badge on their hand, in various offices of MES located all over India.  All India MES Civilian Engineers association was came into existence in 1978 and is the largest Engineer’s Association in India recognised by Government of India , Ministry of Defence. This way of protesting peacefully without disrupting government work and without taking lunch breaks and doing more work has not been seen before anywhere else in the history of India and is another example of the discipline of the Junior Engineers and Assistant Engineers working in MES.  The MES contributes significantly to meet all civil, mechanical and electrical engineering related infrastructure and maintenance requirements for the Indian Army , Navy, Airforce , DRDO, Coast Guard and some other central Govt Deptt throughout the year.  MES has more than 700 offices across the country and employs more than 7000 Assistant Engineers  and Junior Engineers (Civil, E&M and QS&C) .  Promotions of Assistant Engineer to Executive Engineer posted in MES are pending since 2016 ( 07 years) due to which there is widespread anger among everyone.  All India MES Civilian Engineers association requested countless times to the higher authorities in this regard but it always remained unheard.  After being disappointed everywhere, ALL INDIA MES CIVILIAN ENGINEERS ASSOCIATION has adopted this Gandhian method of protest in which the members of the association tie black badge on their hands on two days I.e. Wednesday and Friday and doing official work without having lunch.  Various construction and repair works related to civil mechanic and electrical engineering are being done with more enthusiasm so that there no hindrance in maint services and project work carried out by MES.

We are demanding to remove bottleneck and regular DPC and appointment has to be continued with constitutional Right of Defence Civilian Employee working in Military Engineer Services.
