Carers who receive pension should receive Carers Allowance. Pension is Not a benefit, it is a pre earned income. If pension age carers withdraw their service, all people being cared for by them would become the responsibility of the DWP, and /or local authorities. This would cause a financial crisis far in excess of paying the allowance to all carers.  Please support this petition.
