Thank you to the Secretary for the Dube Neighborhood Watch , Mr Sipho Ngubeni for printing the Hardcopy of the Online Petition for Community Members that are not able to sign the online petition.

The hardcopy of the petition is targeting the below numbers for community signatures and comments :

* Online Petition: Minimum 800 Dube Community resident’s comments and signatures.

* Hardcopy Petition: Minimum 200 Dube Community resident’s comments and signatures.

Ntate Motloba and Mam Khosi Dlamini have placed the hard copies of the petition at strategic points such as tuck shops, Brt Bus Stops and Vegetable stands.

Other physical signing points will be communicated in due course :

* Bus Stops - Cnr Salmon Street & Mahalefele- Reavaya Bus Stop

* Vegetable Stands -Mike -Mahalefele Street .

* Thabiso’s Braai Place -1015 Sandile Street

*Lizzy’s Inn - 1074 Mncube Street

*Thembi’s Place

Community members are encouraged to request , sign and write their concerns on the petition when visiting these businesses or before/ after using bus transport.

If the space for your comments is not sufficient please write all your comments via a separate piece of paper and leave it in the plastic pocket or send them via the DNW Secretary WhatsApp to Sipho Ngubeni +27 63 200 8958

Nhlanhla Mthembu will circulate the copy affecting the Mehlomakhulu block.

Steven from Monyane Street will assist Lucky Makhoba worth circulating the copies for the block.

Sipho Ngubeni will share the online and hard copy of the petition with the community block safety leaders and they’ll share the hard copy with their patrollers who do not have access to the online petition.

Members of the Dube community who are available to volunteer the sharing of paper petition are free to contact the secretary for blank petition copies.

A hard copy of the petition with the issues raised in the meeting for the 18th of October 2021 and via email will be emailed to the WATA leadership for perusal prior to the upcoming community meeting.
