Petition to Penalize and Close Flexi-Finance Philippines
The Issue
When the pandemic hit the country and caused loss of jobs and income, here is a lending company. FlexiFinance Philippines that disregarded the Bayanihan Law and imposed penalties for late payments.
It's very poor customer service, unstable and outdated application and very limited payment option left people frustrated on how they can pay the penalties imposed let alone the monthly charge.
I for one did all my best to settle my dues. I went to their branch in Starmall-Alabang last week of May 2020 to inquire about my bill and the staff informed that I won't get any charge so long as I make a payment within June 2020. When I get back however on the 15th of June, I was penalized for 3 consecutive months that I haven't paid because of lockdown. It's totally disappointing as I was advised differently so I didn't pay for it. Every week, I came by the office just to follow-up without any luck at all. I contacted all the phone numbers and emails of Flexi-finance but I get a response only from a shitty, robotic voice. In the end, I was left with no choice but to pay the penalty just to complete my payment.
That very anti-customer experience should not be taken for granted as it's a clear violation of the Bayanihan Act! We all want justice and we need authorities to look into this matter seriously.
