Petition for an online system for GMDSS - GOC renewal.

 Much needed system in today's DIGITAL INDIA era. Maritime professionals are facing lot of problems due to the present non-transparent offline system and causing undue delay in joining the ships for service.

Lack of transparency gives birth to malpractices including corruption.

It is probably one of the few systems which have switched from an online system earlier, to off-line.

Also, self-attested documents to be accepted in place of attestation by Gazetted Officer.

As Government of India, Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances has issued a letter regarding self-attestation.
