Airtel to stop billing for the disrupted service period proactively
The Issue
Airtel is one of the smartest companies of India. They have the best of best speed, hi Fi technologies but, they do not have an option to adjust the billing automatically, in case of known disrupted service.
This is a serious issue.
They are one of the largest broadband connection provider in India. On an average if they get extra money for the one disrupted day on the 30% of the broadband connections....it is a huge money. They are simply enjoying it. On top of that the SLA is 72 hrs. So they can enjoy the money for 72hrs.
And customer care never ever inform the customer that they should not be billed if they raise concerns...super convenient steps by Airtel. One needs to ask and figure out.
1. I request to give back all the money to the customers which they have gathered on last couple of years by this malpractice.
2. Stop billing the customer proactively, in case of known disruption.
