As we all know that our locally community has been voicing their concerns of over fishing in our lake and our 2 local fisheries officers are doing the best they can to slow down the illegal fishing.

But are very under resourced and can not keep up with the rate of the over fishing.

We feel as locals we need more full time officers and also some fully trained voulenteer locals with powers to detain and prosecute would be a great addition to our local lake illawarra and surrounding areas to curve and stop over fishing of species in our lake.
