Keep Maths Re'exam for 2nd PUC Students of karnataka Pre University board 2016
The Issue
Karnataka Pre University Board 2016 has broken the Dreams of several students by setting a paper which was meant to be very hard . Karnataka Pre University Board should think that not everyone is capable of solving such questions. They should test only the skill level of the students and not beyond their capacity.
What about our Karnataka CET Engineering rankings , Maths marks is considered for KCET Engineering Rankings , And this year there are 1000's of repeaters , and they will get GOOD RANKINGS because of the marks they have scored in their previous Maths Theory Paper of 2015.
Atleast Karnataka Pre University Board should think about our Engineering Rankings of 2016.
This year, Karnataka Pre University Board maths paper 2016 was tough as well as long and has made several students cry.
Unfortunately, the paper was not set according to this marking scheme, and the students had to answer intricate " 2 marks and 3 marks questions were asked as 1 mark questions which took a lot of time"
The paper was set on a level were the below Average students couldn't even pass the exam!
After completing the maths exam many students couldn't concentrate on their next papers.
The weightage to Difficulty level of questions should be only 15 %. However, this year maths paper was very tough, Difficulty level being more than 75 %.
All the questions were twisted, required time to think and solve and some questions were out of syllabus , hence many students could not complete the paper.
The questions were not based on the prescribed NCERT. Students were more prepared for NCERT based questions, but the paper was set from other books. All in all, those who studied from the supplementary books were better able to write the paper in comparison with those who had studied from the NCERT books .
Karnataka Pre University Board 2016 should come out with a statement immediately to take care of their mental agony; which will help them to concentrate on their next exam.
Re Exam must be kept so that we achieve all our goals and the below average students get passed.
