Capital punishment, also known as the death penalty, is a government-sanctioned practice whereby a person is put to death by the state as a punishment for a crime. Many have argued on this matter, but should our country legalized the death penalty? The death penalty is not a revenge, it is not a crime that most people think it is. Death Penalty will reduce the number of crime rate in the country because criminals will just be taking advantage of people without harsh punishments. Criminals become bolder and careless to commit crimes knowing that they will only be imprisoned that is why they are not scared of repeating heinous crimes. If people have discipline they will not commit a crime.
