My 20 year old son & 17 year old nephew in prison for 25 & 15 years for the same crime  for a book bag and gun..They call that armed robbery..No one got hurt Or killed. My nephew did 2 years in YDC for that crime and the judge still turned around and gave my nephew 15 years in prison when he turned 17th for that same crime..My 20 year old son was also in the military. I believe in 2nd chances. Sometimes prison not always the answer.. It’s so many programs out here that the judge could’ve offer these young men. Please look at this case and ask yourself why the judge didn’t offered these young men to a program..They both suffering from mental illness.
