The body of an Ocean View High School matric girl was found in Masiphumelele on the 7th of February 2021.

A group of children playing in Section E found the body of  Mpho Sekoboto covered with a piece of cloth. 

It is a tragedy that such a young, innocent and life was taken away, what hurts more is that she suffered in the hands of those that she trusted, the hands of the people of our community, people the community trusted.

They beat her up, poisoned her and suffocated her.. such guts. 

The community is very shaken by this, it is really saddening that Mpho had to loose her life in order for us to know the kind of people we have in your community. 

We wish that the suspect where not part of our community at all, as a result we would not want to have them come back into our community because we don't trust them anymore since they showed us what they are capable of. 

A child died in the hands of those that were supposed to protect her, We are scared of the suspects and we don't want them back in our community. 

So we plea with the justice system to not give them bail.
