Dear Supporters,

We are writing to ask if you will sign and share our petition to have the Department of Justice open the case against Timothy Loehmann and Frank Garmback. After four years of former U.S. Attorney William Barr shelving the case, we finally have a DOJ that says it is committed to Civil Rights. We need to urge the DOJ to immediately re-open the investigation, indict, and convict for the death of Tamir Rice, so we ask you to sign this petition and share it widely with your networks.

Your activism and solidarity with Samaria Rice is critical to winning convictions of the officers who took 12-year-old Tamir from this Earth. Together we will end police impunity for anti-Black violence in the United States.

Thanks so much for all you do,

Tamir’s Campaign for Justice

Tamir's Campaign for Justice is a solidarity campaign with Samaria Rice focused on obtaining justice for Tamir Rice, her 12-year-old son who was fatally shot by Cleveland police in 2014. We are volunteer organizers who struggle alongside those who have been victimized by state-sanctioned anti-Black violence in the United States, because #BlackLivesMatter and we need #JusticeforTamir to bring about a justice system that is true to its name.
