CALL FOR LEGAL ACTION - MICHAEL MATHIAS DASCOIN/GRN, THEFT OF OVER 2B TOKENS FROM MEMBERS
The Issue
In 2016, enigmatic and charismatic leader Michael Mathias (a US citizen who has been living in Thailand since circa Dec 2018) presented a brave and brilliant vision to the world. It involved talk of de-centralisation, democratisation of wealth and power, beating Bitcoin and implementing a world's first "Silver Bullet", DasPay, a payment card system that would bank the unbanked through the power of an incredible new crypto currency named DasCoin (DASC). The tagline was “The currency of Trust”.
Mr Mathias, through a marketing company trading as NetLeaders (CL Singapore Pte. Ltd., 12 Marina, Boulevard #17-01, Marina Bay Financial Centre, Singapore 018982) headed by John Pretto (another US citizen), implemented an incredible commission and bonuses plan in a Multi Level Marketing scheme that appeared to empower all sorts of ordinary people to go out and offer the opportunity of investing in DASC licenses that would enable those license holders to mint their own DasCoin and to ultimately obtain a revolutionary new crypto currency payment system called DasPay.
The marketing material included graphs and slides with hypothetical future price predictions (based on the growth of BitCoin and other up-and-coming crypto currencies such as Etherium, Litecoin etc) and showing how much personal wealth could be gained if DASC reached €xx or €yy per coin. Without having experience in cryptocurrencies, market caps, etc, these marketing messages attracted the interest of many non-qualified investors with the allure of incredible wealth generation.
Furthermore the images and quotes of icons like Richard Branson, Bill Gates and Robert Kiyosaki were used alongside selective quotes around investing in crypto currency. Paid adverts, articles and front page placements in a magazine known as Millionaire Asia were used extensively alongside the involvement of a number of Non Executive Directors, all of whom came from former senior positions in very credible organisations such as Compaq and Volvo for instance.
DASCOIN "THE CURRENCY OF TRUST" WAS THE COMPANY.
DASPAY (THE SILVER BULLET) WAS THE PRODUCT.
Whilst there was a group of 4 founder members and a Board of Directors it was clear that Mr Mathias led all elements of every facet of the organisation's license selling (through NetLeaders, and its MD John Pretto), technology development, extravagant road shows, marketing and even diplomat meet and greets. He used images of himself with senior political leaders plus his involvement at very credible events such as UN conventions to further enhance the credibility of a message around the power of DasCoin and DasPay to deliver on every element of the ambitious and inspiring vision that had been outlined for peer to peer payments, peer to retail merchants payments, crypto to FIAT card system using mainstream card processing PoS. DasPay and DasMarket became the cornerstone of his incredible message and vision that served to continue to raise hundreds of millions of dollars.
In July 2018 at an extravagant DasCoin event in Barcelona for the launch of DasPay (with a name change at the last minute to AlliancePay) there was a media blackout and the AlliancePay launch didn't happen as expected.
At this point the price of DASC, on public exchanges, had gone from a launch price (on 28 April 2018 at yet another extravagant event in London "Rita Ora") of 33c to less than a cent in Oct 2018 and then down to less than half a cent in Sept/Oct 2020.
In 2019 a large Dascoin promoters in Poland were fined PLN 450,000 and $10m was seized following an investigation by the district prosecutor in Warsaw (ref. PO III DS 176.2018).
In April/May 2018 the British Columbia, Canada, Securities Commission issued a cease and desist notice against DasCoin. By now stories were circulating about non-payment of development and support teams, and big names from the MLM industry, originally associated with the project, were disappearing fast.
During this period where the price of DASC was going through the floor and project after project was cancelled, records from the Jurisdiction of Peurto Rico show that on 27 April 2018 a company called Ledger Ventures LLC was set up and that this company would appear to go on to purchase a number of properties in Peurto Rico. The director of Ledger Ventures LLC is Michael J Mathias.
THE IRS SHOULD BE INTERESTED IN THIS AS THERE IS AN OUTSTANDING FEDERAL TAX LIEN IN HIS NAME DATING ORIGINALLY BACK TO 2012.
On 25 September 2020 Michael Mathias, founder and CEO of DasCoin, now renamed GreenPower, delivered a youtube video in which he announced that the GreenPower coin was moving from the Graphene Blockchain to the Ethereum Blockchain, citing “DeFi opportunities”. There was no discussion, no vote, and anyone who questioned the reasoning was muted on the community telegram group.
On 28 March 2021, 3 days before token holders were to receive their ERC20 GRN tokens into their ERC20 wallets, Michael Mathias instigated an illegal “referendum” which resulted in the swapped coins being put into a “VAULT” and “staked” for a period of 12 months. As a result of this action Mathias came into possession of about 3 billion GRN coins, acting to the detriment of their legal owners.
Michael Mathias has delivered none of the deliverables which were outlined in the original and subsequent roadmaps. Every project which was announced has “failed” or has been replaced for reasons only known to MM. These projects included - DasNet, WebWallet, DasWallet, Das Financial, Das33, Alliance Pay, DasExchange, Das Market, DasCoin, Excelz, SmartTools, Traveler, Travelleum, OREAO, OSuccess, Ledgeron. Not to mention the non existent Institutional Investors waiting in the wings!.
Since July 2019 there has been no Support Function with a functioning ticketing system. The only way to communicate with Green Power “Management” is through the Green Community Telegram Group (https://t.me/Greencommunityofficial), however the TG Group is heavily censored by the Admins and anyone questioning any aspect of the project (past, present, future) is muted or banned and any relevant questions are deleted, citing that they contravene the rules of theTG Group.
Members are told that “membership of the telegram group is a privilege, not a right”
The Admins on the Green Community TG Group are all guilty of perpetrating this scam orchestrated by Michael Mathias.

On a daily basis there are stories from all over the world how this situation has affected people, some of whom sold possessions to invest in DasCoin/GreenPower, of people whose personal relationships have broken down and some who have ended their lives due to the pressure and stress invoked by this so called “Golden Opportunity”.
THIS IS THE LONGEST RUNNING FRAUD IN CRYPTO HISTORY. IT MUST END NOW AS MICHAEL MATHIAS PLANS TO START SELLING LICENCES AGAIN, THIS TIME FOR “ANOTHER” TOKEN BUILT ON THE ORIGINAL DASCOIN BLOCKCHAIN (NOW CALLED THE POWERCHAIN).
We believe that most people in the DASC/GRN community have come to the painful conclusion that any return on the funds they invested in this project will never be realised. Some choose to continue to believe that Michael Mathias will lead this project to success as to think otherwise would be to dash their hopes and dreams.
Michael Mathias cannot be allowed to continue to play with people’s lives, emotions and funds.
