Dear Prime Minister,

We, the undersigned, disagree with the new proposed citizenship laws. The clause that particularly pertains to the four-year wait on permanent residence seems quite unfair and disadvantages many.

Please reconsider this with us in mind. The ones who have been in Australia for many years on various visas, the ones who work hard and pay taxes, the ones who integrate well and speak English well. Keep us in mind when changing the laws.

One year on PR and four years in Australia suffices. Please reconsider.
