Over 100 Signatures on Day 1

Thank you to everyone who has signed off on the petition. We have over 100 signatures in less than 24 hours. Because of you, a conversation has begun around the Jones Act and its purpose. The Jones Act was created primarily to protect the economic interests of American ship owners, operators, shipbuilders, and seamen. Their interests matter, but not at the expense of thousands of lives. Puerto Rican's are Americans too and deserve to have their interests protected.
