Mohammed Gulab is the Afghan villager who saved Navy Seal Marcus Luttrell's life. In 2005 Marcus' Seal Team was doing a reconnaissance mission when they were compromised and attacked by elements of the Haqqani network / Taliban. The other 3 members of Marcus' team were killed, and Marcus suffered two gunshot wounds, several cracked vertebrae and shrapnel wounds. Mr. Gulab took Marcus in and protected him from the Taliban - even after they came to kill him. He and his family have been in constant danger ever since (the Taliban killed his cousin and he has had to move often to avoid the same fate).

It would be unconscionable and outrageous not to make every effort to grant this man and his family immediate asylum for risking his and his families life to save one of our best. If we are not willing to stand up for those who so selflessly sacrifice for us, we don't as a nation deserve their help. Please do everything in your power to fast-track this man's request for asylum and help bring him home to a grateful nation.
