Australia has had its borders closed since March 2020 due to the Covid 19 pandemic, stranding Aussies all over the world and expats that live here in AU from visiting home.

Scott Morrison announced that from November, AU borders will be open to international travellers, allowing those overseas to make it home for Christmas and Australian citizens to travel elsewhere.

Unfortunately, he has excluded anyone living here who is not a citizen, from leaving and returning to Australia. Temporary visa holders still cannot leave to visit our loved ones. 

We work here, pay our taxes, received double vaccinations and contribute to society. It’s discriminatory to stop us from visiting our friends and families after almost two years apart. 

Please amend the conditions and let us too see our family and friends.
