Reminder - The Shake It UP campaign will benefit many different patient groups who are prescribed non-pharmaceutical 'treatments' by the NHS.
However, I am a M.E campaigner and M.E is the reason I started this campaign. M.E Awareness Day was, as always, held on May 12. To mark the occasion Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Sajid Javid MP, submitted a written statement to Parliament.

The Shake It UP campaign aligns with this paragraph -
At the heart of the delivery plan will be two core principles: firstly, that we do not know enough about ME/CFS, which must change if we are to improve experiences and outcomes; secondly, we must trust and listen to those with lived experience of ME/CFS.
A new reporting system will lead to patients being listened to (collated and counted) when reporting harms - this will inform future research policy. It will also create quantitative data that can be used to better understand M.E/C.F.S.
It's a win win! So, this campaign continues irrespective of last week's statement. We won't stop.
We need this.
