Fire Fighter saying no risk to the public from smoke because nearest house is 1 km away, there are 3 houses within 2000 feet or so mine was one of them, (and one search of auto shredder residue fires will show you the residue of those fires can leech into the soil), and with the 20 plus drinking water wells, below the site... its only a matter of time, the well testing that is done periodically at the dump, is hampered by the damaged well casings on at least 2 of the wells, so no samples can be taken of those ones
