We are petitioning for a change in the law regarding the sale and use of fireworks by the general public.  The indiscriminate use of fireworks has risen sharply in the last few years causing misery to millions.  People, pets and wildlife endure months of stress from October to January.  We believe that fireworks should only be allowed on days agreed by Government,e.g, November 5th, New Years etc.  There should also be tighter controls on the sale of fireworks which prevents them from being sold out of season.
