The State of Manila Bay is getting worse each year. It is now filled with garbage, plastic wastes, and even animal and human waste even swimming in the Bay has been prohibited because of its coliform level the amount of plastic waste also damages our marine wildlife species, high levels of ammonia was found in the Bay which killed tons of fish.

Save the Bay for:

• The next generation to experience the beauty of Manila Bay
• The improvement of aquatic system
• Prevention of furthur damage to natural ecosystem
• The livelihood of fishermen. There have been records of high death rates of fishes in the Manila Bay therefore resulting in low income for the fishermen. This also affects the food source of the people living in Manila Bay because if there is a low population of fishes in Manila Bay, they will have less choice of food.
• The health of people who live and swim in the Manila Bay. There are high levels of toxins, garbage, plastic wastes, and even human wastes in the bay. This makes the bay prone to a lot of diseases like skin diseases, hepatitis a and etc. Even swimming is prohibited because of the risk of getting these diseases.
