Secondary School children are vulnerable, the rate of coronavirus transmission in them is much higher than Primary School children, and to add to that, many of them are asymptomatic.

We all know 30 students packed in a classroom for six hours will be a hot spot for the spread of infection, and also students are not the best people to advocate hygiene with their friends around.

Schools should encourage students to wear Visors or Face Shields, so at least droplet infection can be contained to some degrees. It will give parents more confidence about safety of students in Schools. It is easier to talk through face shields than through masks, so teenagers can talk to their friends. They can be safer in case social distancing is not possible in a crowded toilet. Teachers will feel less vulnerable. Students will also find it hard to touch their faces all the time. Children with health issues will not be singled out as the only people with protection,if everyone in School wear shields.
