To reverse the unjust move of the ACCJC (Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges) to cancel City College of San Francisco's accreditation, the Department of Education must immediately rescind its recognition of the ACCJC. The ACCJC has violated state and federal laws, as well as their own policies. Their agenda to downsize and privatize public education has tremendously harmed the diverse communities of the San Francisco Bay Area. We call on the Department of Education to save CCSF by revoking its recognition of the ACCJC and replacing it with a transparent and publicly accountable accreditation body.
