It was brought to the attention to parent's of students that Attend Benjamin Russell High School, of Alexander City, Alabama that Principal Wilkerson made an inappropriate statement targeting black male attendees. According to students, Dr. Wilkerson came over the intercom and announced, "Boys with the nappy 'Thot Fros' will not be able to attend school until their hair has been cut." Parents of the students are concerned, and would like answers! This is our heritage, the texture of their hair does not have anything to do with them receiving an education! We're asking all that agree to sign this petition! We are tired of our boys being called out and frowned upon for representing who they are when they are only trying to receive an education just like everyone else!
