Rebuild Bonbeach Primary School

I am sure that you and I agree that every child deserves a safe learning environment. Bonbeach Primary School is an award-winning school, however after years of neglect the facilities have deteriorated, which has led to children being taught in the school’s staff room (yes, you read that correctly!)
It is time for a full redevelopment. You can make a difference by signing this petition to join many people, who are equally disappointed in the authorities for overlooking our Bonbeach Primary School.
- In boarded-up classrooms, beams have been installed to improve the building's integrity, however the emergency works by the VSBA cannot commence until the resident termites are eradicated.
- With a growing enrolment, the school is now at capacity.
- Oh and it gets worse! The Department of Education will not provide mobile classrooms in the meantime.
- Meanwhile other schools throughout the Electorate of Carrum continue to benefit from capital works. Why is Bonbeach not a priority?
Now well into Term 1, parents have grown tired of the excuses from not just the authorities, but also from Carrum MP Sonya Kilkenny, who is not standing up for Bonbeach Primary School.
