The on-going rise of the usage of social media and technology in general has made a massive impact on how people communicate and interact. With this comes its own way of harming people. Social media is continued to be utilized as a major platform for verbal and social abuse that is a lead to kind of bullying called Cyberbullying.

Cyberbullying is a type of discrimination or bullying that happens usually in social media with the use o electronic gadgets such as mobile phone, laptops, tablets, etc.. This includes rude messages or e-mails, cruel posts that are publicly displayed, and pictures or videos that are posted to embarrass someone. People who experience cyberbullying tend to have low self-esteem and may even show signs of depression. Cases of suicide due to being bullied online become higher each year with teenagers in the majority.

The group’s mission is to raise awareness about cyberbullying because studies show that some victims of cyberbullying don’t talk about what they are going through until it’s too late. The campaign would also serve as a way for online users to know what to do if ever they encounter a bully. Throughout the campaign, the group is expected to reach out and help those who are discriminated.
