I come anonymously as a student from Hoërskool Dinamika, along with my fellow pupils and we demand to be heard ! We have been facing a lot of unprovoked racism in the school for the past 3 years and it keeps on multiplying by each day. It is such racism that comes in jokes, anger and most of the time is conveyed indirectly. There has been so many incidents that have occurred and no action has ever been taken placed . We have been humiliated and discriminated by our teachers. Horrible things are being said to us by the day as I quote a few “ek jy’s swart maar jy’s ń nca swart. nie soos die ander mense nie”...“do you want to be in a school where they stab one another or do you want to be in a school with discipline” ......it even came to a point where they were promoting noise pollution because apparently the school has become too loud ever since black people were allowed in. As for RCL & prefect selections I don’t even know where to begin with because it’s just the white kids and only approximately 5 out 100+ black kids that get selected. We sincerely ask for peace and to be treated equally. Enough is enough !
