I would love for metal detectors to be placed throughout schools in Michigan for the safety of our children and staff. It is a tragedy that parents as well as students and staff fear to go to school to teach and learn, having to worry about someone having access to weapons and bringing it to schools. It’s not only in the state of Michigan. I am so heartbroken on the tragedy that occurred at the Oxford high school. My heart goes out to the families that lost their loved ones and the ones who were injured and also the ones that had to experience this horrific situation. Moving forward I hope this would prevent violent acts and help secure students and staff. Thank You.
