As many American citizens know, America doesn't even make it to the top 20 when it comes to the best education system. This is because this system is completely outdated, and doesn't fit what we need in our modern day. What we need the most now is thinkers, not workers. Another issue is from the stress it causes to those inside the system. I propose that we need to change the system to a Sudbury system, where kids choose to learn what they want, instead of being forced to learn calculus, chemistry, and other classes that most people don't and won't ever remember. Let the kids who want to take those classes take them, but forcing people to learn the same things can only work for a selective few. Changing to a Sudbury system can allow kids and parents everywhere to no longer worry about a good education, their children being a failure, and most importantly, this will allow a better future, where more people can help not just America, but the world and its principal problems.
