The 3rd amendment was added to the bill of rights following the revolutionary war. It does not allow soldiers to make quarters in a citizens home. Let’s be honest, this amendment is far outdated, it was created because the British soldiers forced themselves into colonists homes. In today’s world it would not be another country’s army staying in our houses, it would be our own troops protecting our country. The least we can do to show our  support for soldiers is to let them stay in our homes during times of need. The 3rd amendment is not applicable in today’s society.
