More than 5,000 people have signed our petition. This gives a clear measure of how important a coastal lifestyle is to our people! Keeping in mind that the Census population of Kerikeri in 2013 was 6,507 this level of support is absolutely remarkable. There is still no word from DOC. I hope to have a face to face meeting with Northland's DOC director this coming week so  that I can report back to you all on progress.
