This afternoon I sent a submission to DOC's Northland director Sue Reed-Thomas, asking that the 3.4km Crown owned strip be approved for vehicle access.

The submission also went to our Mayor and councillors urging them to come on board and also to take action through the consent process, whenever opportunities arise, to gain access to our coastline.
