Abandon plans to move to the Metric Measurement system

Abandon plans to move to the Metric Measurement system
The Issue
The Department for Transport have released a report showing that they wish to move to having both Imperial and Metric measurements on all UK Height and Width signs.
Please sign the petition to stop the DfT changing a system that is not broke.
This will lead to confusion for motorists on UK Roads, and could cause more acccidents.
I am calling on the DfT to abandon all plans for this and to keep our existing imperial measurements.
This is a slippery slope and could result in distance signs being changed from Miiles to Kilometres.
Leading Transport experts are already saying this will cause confusion.
