Our Education Secretary did not attend a comprehensive school, and nor did the majority of the cabinet, including the Prime Minister and Chancellor of the Exchequer. These are the people who make judgements and decisions every day in relation to the education system, and it would help them to gain first hand experience of the issues and challenges faced daily by school staff.
