Hope you are all safe and healthy. Quick update for you below:
In talking to the residents along Valentine and Olsen in an effort to bring an off-leash dog park area to Graydon Hall for local dog owners and their pets. Unfortunately, we need to evaluate a new location. Once we have secured an area, and done our research, we will let you know.

As the pandemic has resulted in parks to attract more people, an off-leash dog park is more relevant and necessary than ever. With over 200 signatures on this petition, we will not give up until we have used all of our resources in order to keep Don Valley East residents and pets safe and healthy.
What is a DOA?
A Dog Owners Association (DOA) is vital in order to submit an application for a new DOLA (Dog Off-leash Area) to the city.
Why is it important?
We must have a strong presence and members involved within our community. If you live in and around the area, make sure to to join so you have your voices heard: Graydon Hall Dog Owners Association
The page will be an open discussions on; Off-leash Dog Parks location, to educate on restriction and guidelines, to bring awareness to dog park etiquette and responsible dog ownership, as well as strategies and improvements that optimize park experiences for people with and without dogs.
What are the Next Steps?
Before we can submit a request in writing, we need the following information:
- Name, mailing address, email address and telephone numbers of each DOA contacts.
- Finding new location for an off-leash area. If you have any suggestions on a new location, please reach out.
- Submit an application for new DOLA to the city.
