I've been disappointed by election results before. But I've never felt that our democracy was in danger until this election.  In light of the Washington post's excellent reporting on Russian interference with our 2016 election I'm pleading for everyone to ask their state's electors to deny Trump the presidency. Please join me in this request to the WV electors and start your own petition to your state's electors. My letter

Dear WV Electoral College Republican Electors, We are writing you a heartfelt plea. We need your courage, your strength and your love of country. Please respect the national popular vote, and do not vote for Mr. Trump. Support Mrs. Clinton as the winner of the popular vote. Please let your love of country rise above your loyalty to party and guide your conscience and your vote. The CIA has stated that Russia interfered with the US election in order to help Trump win. Don't let Russia choose the next American president. Don't leave American citizens with doubt about the legitimacy of this president. Many Republicans have expressed doubt and concern about Mr. Trump and his fitness for the job. We don't make this request lightly. Mr. Trump lost the popular vote by 2.5 million votes and counting. Trump's behavior his disregard for American security and his conflict of interest threatens our national security and and our world standing. American democracy is the great hope to the world. Don't let Mr. Trump destroy that hope. Vote for Mrs. Clinton.
