To Glynn County’s Commissioners,

We, the citizens of Glynn County, living in the neighborhood of Yacht Road and Old Belle Point Road, are against the proposed Verdanas development at the front of our community off of Hwy 17.  This concrete jungle would ruin our way of life in this neighborhood, the very reason that we have all chosen to invest our lives in our property. We are wholeheartedly in opposition of having a three-story multi building apartment complex built in our neighborhood. We have concerns, as you have already heard, concerning the significant increase in traffic, water drainage, property buffers and privacy, as well as the disturbance of wildlife and wetlands.  The citizens in our community have lived here for the past 50 years to the past five years. We range in age from three years old to 80+ years old. Please help us protect our precious neighborhood and way of life. Please advocate for us as citizens of Glynn County to this non-local developer who does not care about what happens to Brunswick as a community as long as he makes his financial profit.  PLEASE Vote NO, and reject this proposal for The Verandas.
